I would just like to give a shout out to Stompin Tom Connors!! He has passed away at 77 years old and was a phenomenal asset to the Canadian Country Music genre. He sang amazing true songs all about Canada including one of my favourite ” The Hockey Song” and ” The ketchup Song” The ketchup song is dear to a lot of our hearts from essex county because hes singing about Leamingtons Heinz Ketchup and mentioned Windsor. That is how I came across that song to begin with! 

What an Inspiration this man was, and its with sadden hearts to see him go

Hello Tumblr world!!

I just want to wish everyone a MERRY CORNFEST!!! yupp this is tecumseh towns small town festival weekend…. We tecumseh folk live for the Cornfest.. well most doo!!!… I love this weekend, it really is like christmas to me and my friends. We get to catch up with people that we may not have got to all summer, have a few brews, house parties, and good time and memories. 

This year I have a special friend from austrailia down to enjoy it with us. He doesn’t know what he is getting himself into, if he thought me and my europe girlies could party, he hasnt even seen a taste of what we can do. When it comes to thursday night, cougars and ladies night free beer tent night, ohh we get wild. I am excited to show him a little part of who we are, and what we like to do just before school, real life, or other things kick in. This is our time to let loose and catch up. 

Not to mention is my friends 30th birthday as well. Yeahh i know i know i have older friends, but they are more fun and exciting anyways. Mature and responsible but also still know how to have a good time.. thats what tecumseh people are like. I love this little town!!!! 

well im off to pick up my friend from the train station… MERRY CORNFEST!!!

This weekend is going to be UNREAL!!!

Oh yeah, that’s right…. this weekend is a girls weekend and I am so uber stoked. Brie is back from Aussie land, and tonight is WINE FEST!!! This will be the first wine fest I have attended in the 4 years we held it. I am suppose to be at Peach fest out in harrow but since I am just a spectator this year I decided due to work at 7am tomorrow morning staying in tecumseh will be a better idea. 

Tomorrow will be another jammed packed day of work all morning then Baseball Tourney!!!! I am so excited to see my harrow loves!! It has been a while and i am rooting on :The Baseball Team: oh yeah, thats is the teams name.. we are beyond brilliant dont you think?

Sunday will be the same as Saturday just switched around… baseball then work!! And then that evening Andrew comes home, and that makes me happy. I spent the last 6 days straight with Andrew after not seeing him for 6 weeks and it felt like we spent 3 weeks together. As much as I will miss him this weekend I think its good for us to not see each other for 3 days and have some alone time. Thats what makes our friendship so awesome is that we can survive that. 

But with all that said, Time to continue on with my wonderful friday as I head out to eat Penalty Box.. yumm chicken delight!!!!

This is a quote that I have been hearing a lot lately in my life. Everything happens for a reason… well you know what i would really like to know what the reason is. I have had a lot of ups and downs in my life, and for more then 95% of them I still don’t know what the reason is. Is the reason suppose to be a obvious one? or is it a little tiny pin like thing that happens in your life and you don’t even realize that it may be “That reason”. 

2012 has been by far the best year of my life to date. Maybe thats the reason for everything else shitty in my life happening because 2012 was my reason. I was fully believing that until something happened to me end of July. I was suppose to be moving outta my area, starting a whole new life nice and fresh. No past following me, only the future to be determined by my new and improved life.  But just previous to me finding out this life changing thing that prevented me from leaving home and starting this life I met someone. Someone who is super sweet, and splitting image of me. Someone that I knew I would be friends with for ever, even if nothing went any further between us just because I felt it. I knew that it would happen. Me moving and starting my new life, sadly did not have him in it in any other way then just friends. Just as I was finally okay with it, BAMMMMM life changing events took place and now my life has been twisted again. Everyone’s responses…..” Everything happens for a reason“….. well fuck that reason, what possibly could be the reason to take my happy place away from me…. 

Well you know what… if he was that reason I am more then happy. I came back to my town, and I get to spend time with him, and I get to be happy. If its for a short period of time till my life is back on track.. or if its for a lifetime… i can not be happier!!!!! I do know, no matter what… I always have a best friend in him… and that’s not going anywhere… and to me that’s all the reason I need.

Hey fellow tumblites, just another blog from yours truely

Soo this weekend is another very exciting weekend for me. Yes it first became amamzing when I woke up friday morning saying YAY MY WEEEKEND OFF, so yes after work today i am free from work till tuesday which really excited me… ALOT…

Tonight Im hanging with some work peeps just chilling in sweats, and eating and watching movies, nice, relaxing, drama free night

Tomorrow i get to pack all day YAY to moving, and then gets to be apart of a wonderful cast and crew at once again another mimetic video shoot. I really enjoy the people I get to work with and be around everytime, it makes it totally worth every second of it, even if it is an all nighter of a shoot lol :) 

Sunday I will be packing some more, and doing homework.. ya did i forget to mention.. SLEEEPING ALL DAY :) this weekend is very needed, I am stoked to finally have a weekend off.

Sooo this weekend is gunna be unreal. 

Today I worked (Began to figure out how to fix my predicament I was in)  then chopped my hair off.. and i LOVE it.. just waiting for next thursday to finish off my colour. Melissa is amamzing and I love Salon Sheer :) .. 

Sadly tomorrow I have to work days instead of getting to be extras in another music video with Mimetic Entertainment and Gavin Michael Booth, for MTL new song Red Cups, which is a sick song and a sick band may i add… but as sad i am to miss that i get to attend a great bands video release party “The Blue Stones” at Villians here in windsor. That I am super excited for, I love tarek who is one of the band members and I get to spend the night with great amazing people such as the crew that works on the music videos. Its going to be a awesome night. 

As for sunday funday right now its just work for me lol, oh wait no its not, then its SUPERBOWL SUNDAY and I am going to my buddys house out in Harrow. Super stokedddd!!!

The best part of all this weekend is, after the fun is done with that, monday comes, and this monday for once I am excited to arrive.. why may you ask.. MY BEST FRIEND IS COMING HOME!!!! booooo yaaaaa ballllin’.. trouble has reunited… I cannot wait :)
